My name is Sayra Agustin-Zarate, and I am currently a junior at California State University, Fresno. I’m currently studying Agricultural Business with the goal of opening an agri-tourism farm in California. I was born and raised in Madera, California, growing up alongside other migrant and farmworker families. This academic year, being a part of the Farmworker Advocacy Club has been incredibly fulfilling, as I am currently the Marketing and Outreach Coordinator. As a club, we have dedicated countless hours to serving the farmworker community, driven solely by our love and passion for individuals who work tirelessly to provide for their families.
